PITTSBURGH PA - The swim teams took on Westminster this afternoon, both Men's and Women's fell 180-50 and 152.5-97.5 respectively. For each race, the stroke and distance was announced just prior to the start so the swimmers did not know what it was they were about to race until the last moment.
Event winners on the day include
Hannah Uhrinek in the 100 freestyle and 100 individual medley. Along with Uhrinek are
Adela Holland in the 50 and 100 breaststroke,
Siera Schmitt in the 50 butterfly,
Alayna Kercher in the 200 individual medley and
Carly Sagerser 1M diving to round out the Women's side of things. For the Men's,
Cal Hockman won in the 50 and 200 freestyle with
Max Rollins taking the win in the 50 butterfly.
The Men's team stands at 1-7 Overall and 1-4 in the PAC, with the Women's coming in at 4-5 Overall and 2-4 in the PAC. Both teams will be back in action in the PAC Championships set for February 19 - February 22.
