Swim and Dive Team Fall Short in Vulcan Kickoff Invitational

CALIFORNIA, PA - The swim and dive team came up short in the Vulcan Kickoff Invitational meet this morning. The men's received second place beating Saint Francis University, but losing against Davis & Elkins College. The women received fourth place with 83 points.  

The men's swim and dive scored a total of 147 points. Max Rollins was able to secure first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.63. Damien Mauro claimed second place in the 500-yard freestyle and Calum Hockman also received second in the 200-yard backstroke. 

The women's team battled against three other schools, and was unable to win enough events to claim higher than fourth place. Although they were unable to win, Adela Holland clenched first place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:00. 

The Cougars hit the road again to battle against Penn State Altoona on Saturday, October 24th at 1:00PM in Altoona, PA.
