Purchase, N.Y. - On Friday, the Cougars (2-16-2) traveled to play the Manhattanville Valiants (5-13-2). The Cougars were outmatched in this game and fell by a score of 8-1.

The Valiants scored five goals in the first period and added three more in the third. The Cougars lone goal came when Sophia Taylor scored an unassisted goal with the Cougars having pulled their goalie. The Cougars managed 17 shots on goal in the game but only converted on the one.

The Cougars and Valiants will play again on Saturday February 8th at 3 PM in Purchase, N.Y.
