ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Chatham Men's Squash (3-5) was defeated by Navy (17-9) on Saturday by a final score of 6-3.
Abdelrahman Walid Sadek claimed one of the Cougars' three victories with a 3-2 (5-11, 11-8, 16-14, 10-12, 11-6) win over Navy's Alexander Orr in the three-seed matchup.
Muhammad Hassaan Raza swept his match (11-8, 15-13, 11-4) over four-seed Matthew Kang.
Alejandro Cruz was the other victor for Chatham, coming back from down 2-0 to defeat Lucas Spiro 3-2 (5-11, 5-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-6). Injuries for the Cougars forced them to default in the eight- and nine-seed matchups.
Chatham will play two matches next weekend in Amherst, Ma. against St. Lawrence on Saturday at 12 p.m. and Amherst on Sunday at 12 p.m.
