Pittsburgh, Pa. - On Friday, the Cougars (2-18-2) took on the #15 Nazareth Golden Flyers (14-6-1). The Cougars kept it close in the first period but the Golden Flyers pulled away in the final two periods and won by a score of 5-1.

In the first period, the Golden Flyers got on the board first when they took a 2-0 lead with five minutes left in the period. The Cougars answered back with an unassisted goal by Morgan Black. In the second period, the Golden Flyers continued their offensive onslaught and added two more goals to take a 4-1 lead into the third period.

The Cougars were led offensively by Black who had one goal. Samantha Brophy was between the pipes for the Cougars and made 51 saves which gave her a .911 save rate.

The Cougars and Golden Flyers will play again on February 15th at 3 PM.
