PITTSBURGH – Chatham Men's Squash (3-4) got the job done at home on senior day, defeating Denison (4-7) 8-1. Chatham Women's Squash (1-6) was defeated by the Big Red (7-5) by a 6-3 scoreline.

Sebastian Antonio Vaca Sanchez (11-8, 11-6, 11-2),
Agustin Carranza (11-8, 11-4, 11-9),
Lucas Oliveira (11-2, 11-6, 11-3), and
Keyel Christopher Beasley (11-7, 11-9, 11-5) all won their matches via 3-0 sweeps en route to the win for the men's team.
Alejandro Cruz (11-2, 9-11, 11-8, 11-3) and
Brett Poles (11-8, 6-11, 11-8, 11-8) both took their matches 3-1.
Abdelrahman Walid Sadek (12-10, 7-11, 10-12, 11-5, 11-5) and
Obed Roman Garcia (5-11, 11-8, 10-12, 11-6, 11-7) both edged their opponents 3-2 to give the Cougars a resounding victory.

On the women's side,
Sofia Pinto (11-5, 11-8, 11-7),
Vasundhra Vasanthan (11-2, 11-2, 11-7), and
Clara Braga (11-3, 11-8, 11-8) all swept their matches against the visitors. Denison would win four of their six matches 3-0, with the final two wins via default.

The men's team will travel to Navy for their next match on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. The women's team will next face St. Lawrence in Amherst, MA on Feb. 22 at 12 p.m.
