PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Chatham Women's Volleyball (16-8, 11-5 PAC) was defeated 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-19) in their final regular season match on Saturday by Washington & Jefferson (16-12, 11-5) at the Athletic & Fitness Center.

The Presidents took control of the first set via a 7-0 run after the match was tied 12-12. Washington & Jefferson would concede just one additional point in the opening frame, closing it by winning 13 of the final 14 points of the set. The Cougars took the first three points of set two and led 18-15, but the Presidents snatched the 2-0 match lead by taking 3 of the final four points. Chatham kept the third set close, as four kills by
Becca Gesner had the Cougars within 15-13, but Washington & Jefferson claimed the top seed in the PAC South division via a 5-1 run to win the match.

Becca Gesner tied for a match high in kills with 8 for Chatham and had 2 blocks.
Sierra Ricci recorded 24 digs and 2 aces on her senior day.
Delaney Schwind finished the match with a double-double, tallying 14 assists and 12 digs.
Paige Watson recorded 6 kills, and
Devyn Kelley had 2 aces for the Cougars. The Presidents held a 37-24 advantage in kills for the match.

Women's Volleyball now goes into the PAC Tournament as the #2 seed out of the South Division. They'll host the #3 seed out of the North Division on Tuesday night with a 7 p.m. first serve at the Athletic & Fitness Center.
