BETHANY, WV - It was a battle in Bethany today as the Chatham men's soccer team (2-7-3, 0-2-2 PAC) fell in the last minute to the Bison (2-5-3, 1-2-1 PAC) in a 3-2 fight.
The Bison would waste no time putting the pressure on the Cougars as only 15 minutes in they found the back of the net. It would then be silent from both teams for the rest of the half as neither team added to the board. The Cougars would only put one shot on goal while junior goalkeeper
Justin Teufel would make four saves.
The second half would be the complete opposite from the first. The Cougars would come back with a vengeance as freshman
Domenic Mannarino would find the back off a ball from sophomore
Ronan Edris to tie the game at 1-1. The last 15 minutes of the game would be a game of back-and-forth between teh Cougars as the Bison. While the Bison were able to add two more goals to the board, the Cougars could only add one from freshman
Josiah Lewis.
The Cougars will be back home at UPMC Graham Field on Tuesday, October 7th when they take on the Westminster Titans at 7:30 PM.
