Women's Soccer Defeated by the Bearcats

Box Score LATROBE, PA - The Chatham women's soccer team (9-6-2, 6-4 PAC) hit the road this afternoon to battle with Saint Vincent (13-3-1, 7-2-1 PAC), but unfortunately fell in a 2-0 loss.

While the Cougars were an offensive power today, out shooting the Bearcats 7-5, it would be a two goal difference that gave Saint Vincent the edge. The Cougars offense would be led by senior Halle Marsalis who tallied two shots on goal. In addition to her two, senior Ainsley Smith and sophomores Elizabeth Gallup, Carly Hinden, Jorjanne Seaman, and Sarah Vescio would all have one shot on goal each.

The Cougars back line would again limit the Bearcats to only five shots on goal, allowing sophomore goalkeeper Kyanni Escudero to make three saves on the day.

The Cougars are back in action this Wednesday, October 29th, when they hit the road to travel to Hiram, OH for one last PAC match up with the Hiram College Terriers at 8:30 PM.
