PITTSBURGH – Chatham Men's Basketball (10-3, 7-1) started 2025 with a 90-81conference victory over the Bethany Bison (5-6, 0-6) on Saturday at the Athletic and Fitness Center.

Luca Robinson scored 14 points and led the Cougars in rebounds (8) and steals (3).

In the first 15 minutes, neither team led by more than five points in what was an offensive slugfest. In the final 4:27 of the first half, the Cougars put together an 18-5 run that featured three triples from Easton Fulmer, propelling Chatham to take over the game. The Cougars then started the second half with a 7-2 run to take a 56-35 lead, but Bethany used runs of 9-2 and 14-5 to pull within 11 with just under nine minutes to player. However, Chatham was always able to maintain a lead of at least 10 for the majority of the final minutes, with Bethany never coming closer than eight points.

Chatham shot 46.8% (29-62) from the field and knocked down 10 three-pointers. The Cougars outrebounded the Bison 44-41, and Chatham blocked five shots to Bethany's zero.
