PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars competed against Juniata and Franciscan in a tri-match on Senior Night.
The Women's team took down the Franciscan Barons 139-137, despite missing three squad members. The Men's team took it down to the wire and, despite winning 11 of the 15 events, lost to the Juniata Eagles with a final score of 152-122.
Hannah Uhrinek, won all three of her races 100/200 butterfly, 100 freestyle.
Alayna Kercher won the 500 and 1000 freestyle and also took 2
nd in the 400 individual medley.
Ali Cowan won both diving events for the women.
Xavier Johnston won both diving events for the men with a new personal best score.
Cal Hockman took 3 firsts 100/200 backstroke, 200 medley relay and 2
nd in the 500 freestyle.
Brady Gardner won 3 races 1000 freestyle, 400 individual medley and was on the relay team.
Max Rollins took 3 firsts 50/100 freestyle, the relay and 3
rd in the 200 freestyle.
Caleb Trainum took 3 firsts 100/200 butterfly, the relay and 2
nd in the 200 breaststroke.
The Women's conference record stands at 2-4 with an overall record of 4-5. The Men's team is 1-4 in PAC play with a 1-7 overall record.
The Swimming and Diving teams will be back in action on Friday, January 31st at the Western Pennsylvania Invitational in Pittsburgh PA. Start time is 4pm.
