PITTSBURGH - This past Sunday, the Chatham Golf Club headed out to the 3 Lakes Golf Course in Penn Hills for its first outing of the school year, and it turned out to be a successful one according to club president Rainey Jessup.
"The Golf Club outing was very successful, everyone - no matter their skill level, had an amazing time," shared Jessup. "Every time I saw a group finish on the 18th hole, they had smiles on their faces and that's what it's all about. It's amazing to see the game of golf grow at Chatham."
The outing featured a total of 40 players in a scramble format, with the winning group posting a score of -6.
Currently, there are 56 members in the Chatham Golf Club, however, after Wednesday's Student Engagement Fair, Jessup predicts that number will soon be close to double the amount.
