PITTSBURGH PA - Chatham women's soccer took on Allegheny in the PAC opener tonight.
The Cougars found themselves down by a goal early in the first half, Delaney David would score to put the Gators up by one in the 7' minute. However Chatham would not be down for long.
Seven minutes later, the Cougars would find the tying goal that they were looking for when
Ainsley Smith found the back of the net in the 14' minute. Smith's goal would be assisted by
Ava Krepp.The ha;f would end tied at 1-1.
Despite the Cougar's best efforts, Allegheny would finish up the second half with two more goals, Emma Miller (46') and Katherine Surdykowski (65'). The game would end 3-2 in the Gators favor.
The Chatham Cougars will be back in action on Saturday September 28 against Franciscan at 3:30.
