PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars took on Allegheny tonight in the first PAC Mens Soccer match up of the season.
Both sides had their share of opportunities, with Chatham collecting 8 shots in total and 5 on goal. Allegheny finished with 11 shots, 4 on goal. Despite both teams efforts the score would end tied at 1-1.
The Gators struck first in the 28' minute, taking the lead 1-0. Brady Napoleon is credited for the goal with an assist from Will Gruca.
Allegheny kept their lead as the first half progressed, however Chatham would gain a goal back in the 40'.
Azavier Coppin would stand at the free kick for teh Cougars and strike the ball past the Gators goalie to tie the game at 1-1.
The game would end with both sides tied at 1-1.
The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday September 28 against Franciscan at 1pm.
