CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Chatham Squash traveled to No. 6 Virginia (2-2 men's, 3-1 women's) for a match against the Cavaliers on Sunday. Both the men's (2-4) and women's (1-5) teams dropped their matches 9-0.

On the men's side, Junior
Abdelrahman Walid Sadek won two games but narrowly lost his match 3-2 (9-11, 11-3, 11-4, 6-11, 11-5). Senior
Haidar Jafry lost a tight seven-seed matchup by one game (11-5, 9-11, 5-11, 11-7, 11-8). Junior
Brett Poles also took a game in the eight-seed matchup (13-11, 11-2, 9-11, 11-7).

Women's Squash defaulted on three of their nine matchups on the afternoon as only six Cougars were able to make the trip to UVa.

Both teams be off until February, when they'll host Denison at 10 a.m. on Feb. 1.
