PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars season ended today as they lost to Allegheny in the first round of the PAC playoffs.
The Gators came out of the gate hot, scoring their first goal in the 3' minute of play. Brady Napoleon would be credited for Allegheny's first, netting his 17th of the year unassisted. As the first half moved on, The Gators would find themselves up 2-0 after Will Gruca's 28' minute goal, assisted by Cliff Weaver.
Allegheny would go on to score one more in the first half. Brady Napoleon would be awarded a spot kick, beating Chatham's goalkeeper
Maxwell Cottrill in the 42' minute. The Gators would exit at halftime up by 3 goals.
The second half would see another goal by The Gators, this time off the foot of Cliff Weaver in the 59' minute for his 4th of the year assisted by Colin Elder. The Gators would go on to find the back of the net one more time before the final whistle with Andrea Boccia scoring his first of the year unassisted in the 82' minute. Boccia's goal would be the final nail in the Cougar's coffin.
The Chatham Men's Soccer team end their 2024 campaign with a PAC record of 4-3-4, 7-6-6 overall.
