Rochester, N.Y. - On Saturday, the Cougars took on Nazareth for the second time in the last two days. After winning the first game in a shootout the Cougars fell by a score of 3-1.

In the first period it was the Golden Flyers who took an early lead, scoring just over three minutes into the game. That would be the only goal scored in the first period as both goalies made some excellent saves. The score at the first intermission was 1-0 in favor of the Golden Flyers.

In the second period, the Cougars were able to level the game at one goal a piece. With two-and-a-half minutes left in the period Tyler Samodral scored assisted by Nick Cyprian and Nick Babbie. That was the second goal of the season for Samodral. The score at the end of the second period was a 1-1 tie.

In the third period, the Golden Flyers scored less than a minute into the period. The Golden Flyers would score again six minutes into the period to give Nazareth a 3-1 lead. That would be the final score as the Cougars dropped game two of the weekend.

Geno Pichora was in the net for the second game in a row. The day after he had multiple high level saves, Pichora made more saves that gave the Cougars a chance throughout the entire game. He had 25 saves on 28 shots on goal and a nearly 90% save rate.

That makes the Cougars record 0-3-1. They will be back in action on Friday November 22nd, at Utica.
