PITTSBURGH PA - The Women's Soccer team played their final game of the season against Fredonia State this evening.

The first half saw both sides neck and neck but neither team able to find the back of the net. The second half would see it's fair share of action, however.

The scoring started with Fredonia striking soon after the start of the second half. Gabrielle Irwin would score for the Blue Devils in the 46' minute, putting Fredonia up 1-0 over the Cougars.

Jordan Niccola would be next on the score sheet, finding the back of the net in the 58' minute of play and Fredonia would find themselves up 2-0.

The Cougars were able to find an answer to one of Fredonia's goals with Ainsley Smith scoring her 7th of the season in the 71' minute, however Smith's goal would close out the scoring for both sides and the match would end 2-1 in the Blue Devils' favor.

The Women's Soccer team will wrap up the 2024 campaign with a PAC record of 3-6-2 and an overall record of 8-9-2.
