PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Jan. 19, 2024) - The Cougars Swim and Dive team hosted PAC foe St. Vincent Friday evening. Prior to the meet, friends and family got together to celebrate the seniors for their hard work, dedication, friendships formed, lessons learned, and memories that will last forever. Those being Senior Abigail Glasspool, Senior Sydney Sweger, and Senior Karl Gangloff. 

The Men's were defeated by the visiting Bearcats by the score of 190-31. Senior Karl Gangloff was back at it again as he finished 1st place in the 1000 free (11:02.75) and two 3rd place finishes in the 200 medley relay (1:32.31) and 400 free relay (4:00.02). Sophomore Brady Gardner showed massive time improvements in the 500 free (5:41.86). 

The Women's were defeated by St. Vincent by the score of 190-63. Glasspool led the way as she had three 2nd-place finishes in the 100 back (1:12.17), 100 free (1:00.58), and 400 free (2:40.59). Freshman Jocalyn Henry competed in the 500 free (7:02.26), good enough for 3rd place. 

Swim & Dive has a quick turnaround tomorrow afternoon as they host the Titans of Westminster College. The meet is slated for a 1 PM start.
