PITTSBURGH, Pa. - September 14, 2023 - Chatham Women's Soccer came away with a 1-1 draw at home against Penn State Altoona (0-4-1) Thursday evening. The Cougars moved to 1-2-2 on the season.

The Lions took the lead off a free-kick goal in the 13th minute and held that lead for nearly the remainder of the match, until forward Ainsley Smith buried a loose ball in front of the net to tie the game up in the 89th minute. Smith now has three goals on the season, which leads the Cougars and ranks tied for fifth in the PAC.

Chatham put five shots on goal, while Penn State Altoona recorded three. Corner kicks were 4-2 in favor of the Cougars.

Women's Soccer returns to action Saturday at Mount Union.
