HUNTINGDON, Pa. - September 12, 2023 - Chatham Men's Soccer took its third straight loss with a 4-2 defeat at Juniata on Tuesday night. The loss makes the Cougars 1-4 on the year.
It looked as though it would be a promising showing for the Cougars, as freshman forward
Azavier Coppin scored his fifth goal of the season with assists from senior midfielder Julian Kroger and sophomore forward
Mateo Lopez and first year forward
Anthony Holter scored his first career goal to put Chatham up 2-0 in the 26th minute. However, the Eagles would answered emphatically, scoring three times before half to take the lead and once more in the 81st minute to seal the match.
Despite the loss, Coppin leads the PAC in goals scored with five and is tied for first in points with 10.
Juniata produced most of the game's chances offensively, with an 11-3 advantage in shots on goal and a 9-2 tally on corner kicks.
Men's Soccer hits the road again Thursday for a contest with Hiram College.
