GREENVILLE, Pa. - April 27, 2023 - Chatham Softball traveled to Thiel College for their final doubleheader of the season. Early Cougar leads would eventually shift to favor the Tomcats, who would win both games by scores of 6-5 and 6-3, respectively.

In game one, senior Justine Boyle led with two hits and two RBIs. Also contributing two hits were classmates Mackenzie Dunn, Kaitlyn Collins, and Alyssa Hoffman. Collins would also notch an RBI, as would junior Savanna Ahlborn.

In the circle, first-year Victoria Murren struck out four Tomcats in the loss.

Game two saw first-year Cailyn Lucas on the rubber, where she faced 24 batters. Classmate Chelsea Stabile and Dunn would both enter in relief.

Graduate student Paige Shaftic would notch a team-high three hits in game two, including a double. Collins followed with two, and sophomore Isabelle Griswold doubled as well for her single hit. Savanna Ahlborn registered an RBI.

The Cougars finished their 2023 campaign at 11-25 overall and 6-14 in conference.
