LATROBE, Pa. - February 25, 2023 - Chatham Women's Basketball fell in the PAC Championship game to the Saint Vincent Bearcats 68-52 Saturday afternoon. The Cougars finish the season 19-8, with program highs in wins and conference wins.

Sophomore guard Ashlie Louden led the Cougars with 19 points and tallied six rebounds. Alyssa Laukus added 15 points and four rebounds. Zelimar Rodriguez scored 13 points and notched four rebounds. Five Cougars tallied two steals.

Chatham jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead, but slowed down offensively, only scoring 10 points in the first quarter. The Cougar offense got its footing back in the second, scoring 20 points in the second quarter to take a 30-23 lead into half. The third belonged to the Bearcats, who used a 21-12 scoring advantage in the quarter to take a 44-42 lead into the fourth. In the fourth, the Bearcats kept up the pressure defensively and didn't allow an answer.

Saint Vincent out rebounded Chatham 51-33, while the Cougars won the turnover battle 13-9. Chatham shot 31.3% (20-67) from the floor and tallied 10 steals.
