PITTSBURGH, Pa. - October 27, 2023 - Chatham Men's Soccer will play its second-ever PAC tournament match when it visits Waynesburg on Saturday at John F. Wiley Stadium. The five-seeded Cougars ended the regular season with a 3-0 win at Saint Vincent, while the four-seeded Yellow Jackets notched a draw with top-seeded Geneva to earn the right to host.

In the regular season meeting between the two sides, it was Waynesburg that came out victorious by a score of 3-1 with freshman Xavier Johnston scoring the lone Cougar goal. Since that loss, which came on Sept. 23, Chatham has managed an impressive 5-1-2 record, including a draw with the aforementioned Geneva, who will host the winner of this match next Wednesday.

The Cougars' only other trip to the PAC Tournament came in 2021 when they finished as the four seed and hosted Bethany in the opening round, but ultimately fell 2-1. Keith Danley's squad will be looking for its first-ever PAC Tournament win on Saturday.

The PAC Tournament winner will receive the conference's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III Championship. Selections for the 64-team Division III Championship will be announced Monday, Nov. 6. First and second round matchups are scheduled for Nov. 10-12.
