LATROBE, Pa. - October 24, 2023 - Chatham Women's Soccer closed out the season with a 2-0 defeat against Saint Vincent (10-4-3, 6-2-2) Tuesday evening at UPMC Field. The Cougars end the season with a record of 2-11-3, marking their first losing season since 2014.

The match was scoreless for most of the first half, until Saint Vincent broke through and scored in the 44th minute. The Cougars had a string of corner kicks and put a couple shots on target midway through the second half, but could not pull level. The Bearcats increased their lead in the 78th minute, which proved to be more than enough as they kept the Cougars off the board.

Chatham had four players register one shot on goal each while junior Katie Krecek made seven saves in net. Saint Vincent registered nine shots on goal and held a 6-5 advantage in corner kicks.

The PAC Tournament will start Saturday, and it will be the first one without Chatham since 2015.
