Women's Soccer Suffers Shutout Loss at Allegheny

MEADVILLE, Pa. - October 14, 2023 - Chatham Women's Soccer took a 5-0 loss against Allegheny (3-4, 5-9) at the Robertson Blue Turf on Saturday. The Cougars are now 2-9-3 on the season and 1-6-1 in conference play.

The Gators got on the board early and often, with a goal in the 6th minute and another in the 34th to go up 2-0. In the second half, they continued with goals in the 60th and 63rd before putting on the finishing touches in the 83rd minute.

Junior Katie Krecek made seven saves in net for Chatham. Allegheny won the shots on goal battle 12-2 as well as the corner kicks 5-2.

Women's Soccer will return to UPMC Graham Field next Saturday for Senior Day when they take on Geneva.
