PITTSBURGH, Pa. - September 24, 2022 - The Chatham Men's Soccer team drew with Waynesburg 1-1 Saturday afternoon at UPMC Graham Field. The Cougars are now 1-5-2 on the season after the draw snapped a four-game losing streak.
Chatham led the game in shots 22-15 (8-6 on goal), but the Waynesburg had a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Cougars senior midfielder 
Marco Piccolo scored in the 7th minute of the contest, good for his first goal of the season. The Yellow Jackets knotted things up in the 65th minute, which is where the scoring would end.
Piccolo and freshman forward 
Mateo Lopez each led the Cougars with two shots on goal. Sophomore goalkeeper 
Nathaniel Esch made five saves in net.
Men's Soccer will be back on the pitch Wednesday night in Washington, Pa. as they take on Washington and Jefferson.
