PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - March 6, 2022 - Chatham Men's Squash was one of the few teams remaining in day three of the CSA Individual and Doubles Nationals. Making it to Sunday competition is an honor in itself, but the Cougars took it a step further.
The first Cougar competitor of the day was Jared Nalliah, who competed against Theodore Best of Middlebury in the Molloy North 1st Consolation Final. Nalliah dominated Best in a 3-0 affair, officially crowning him as the bracket champion. Nalliah, who was ranked 13th, will certainly improve in the individual rankings after defeating the #10 player.
The incredible duo of Agustin Carranza and Mohamed Sadek gave it their all in the Men's Doubles Semifinal, but faced their fiercest competition yet and ultimately fell 3-0. Their competitors, a pairing from the University of Pennsylvania, are among the top players in the country, and Penn is ranked #1 in College Squash.
Overall, the Cougars had a successful conclusion to their season with a strong foundation to build off of for next season.
