The eight-team 2022 UCHC Women's Hockey Championship Tournament will begin with quarterfinal action on Tuesday, Feb. 22 and Wednesday, Feb. 23, Semifinals on Saturday, Feb. 26 and the Championship game on Saturday, March 5. Nazareth College, ranked No. 7 in the USCHO Division III Women's Hockey poll, is the top overall seed in the upcoming tournament. The league will crown a first-time league champion this season.

2021-22 UCHC Women's Quarterfinal Preview Capsules

No. 5 Chatham at No. 4 Stevenson, Wednesday - 3 p.m.
Stevenson enters the tournament with a 12-11-1 overall mark, going 11-8-1 in league play. Trinity Barcless leads Stevenson in scoring with 23 points on 14 goals and nine assists, while Tea Ferrara has a team-best 10 assists. Goaltender Olivia DeGuire has played 19 games in net and has six wins to go along with a 2.68 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

Chatham enters the UCHC Tournament having recorded an 15-10-0 overall record and were 12-8-0 in UCHC play. The Cougars boast two of the highest scoring players in the league,
Ally Nolan and
Allison Corser-James. Nolan is tied for third in the league with 20 goals and has 36 points, while Corser-James, the 2021 UCHC Rookie of the Year, is right behind with 34 points on 14 goals and 20 assists.
Katy Reed and
Lilly Rogers have split time in net, combining for a .909 save percentage.

Stevenson and Chatham were even in the regular season standing with 35 points apiece. Chatham won the first matchup between the two schools by a score of 3-2 in overtime on Feb. 4, while Stevenson earned a 3-1 win the following day.
