PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - February, 19, 2022 - Cougar Squash took on Franklin and Marshall this afternoon at CSA Nationals. Despite a back-and-forth score, the Cougars pulled ahead to a 6-3 win.
The Diplomats put up a good fight with four matches going to five sets. Owais Rasheed, Agustin Carranza, and Alaaeldin Abdelkhalik were all victorious in their five-set matches, giving the Cougars crucial deciding points.
Mohamed Sadek and Lucas Oliveira both claimed decisive 3-1 victories over their respective opponents.
Franklin and Marshall got three early wins, but were unable to catch up once the Cougars poured on the set wins.
