NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - November 2, 2022 - Chatham Women's Soccer was defeated in the PAC Semifinal by #1-seeded Westminster on Wednesday night. The 1-1 match needed penalty kicks to decide a winner, which the Titans won 3-1 after five rounds. This marks the Cougars' first PAC Tournament loss since 2019.

Chatham held an 8-7 advantage in shots on goal while Westminster led 5-3 in corner kicks.

The Titans struck first on a corner in the 23rd minute, but the Cougars maintained a visible advantage in possession and scoring changes throughout the contest.

Thanks to multiple timely saves from sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Ehrlich, the Cougars were able to keep it a one-score match and finally took advantage in the 82nd minute when senior defender Malia Hinton buried a shot off a feed from senior forward Maggie Toomey.

Ehrlich made three more crucial stops in extra time, but the Cougars were unable to pull ahead.

Graduate forward Morgan Anderson and senior midfielder Emily Harvey each led Chatham with two shots on goal.

Westminster will host Franciscan in the PAC Championship game.
