PITTSBURGH, Pa. - November 19, 2022 - Chatham Men's Hockey hosted Neumann again tonight, this time coming out on top of a 2-1 final.

Liam Murphy would score under one minute into the game, tipping a shot from Michael Hurst that was set up by Joshuwa Kalinowski.

Neumann would not net their equalizer until late in the second on the power-play, making the third period a matter of offensive power.

Nick Cyprian would be tonight's hero after firing a Caden Smith rebound home on the power-play with just over seven minutes left in regulation. Despite pulling their goaltender, Neumann was unable to catch up.

Ricardo Gonzalez notched another win in goal, making 34 saves total including 19 in the second period alone. Defenseman Ben Lamm contributed three blocks.

In the circle, Evan Mitchell won a game-high 13 of 18 face-offs.

The Cougars are now 3-2 in conference and 3-3-1 overall. They are back in action on December 2nd when they kick off their home series with Wilkes.
