Swimming and Diving Hosts Westminster

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - November 11, 2022 - Chatham Swimming and Diving hosted PAC opponent Westminster College this evening in their first home meet of the year.

Numerous Cougars finished first in their respective events.

Jessica Brant recorded the Cougars' first win of the night in the 100 fly (1:04.27). Abigail Glasspool took home two first-place finishes in the 50 free (27.32) and 50 fly (29.66). Kaya Vital would notch her first top finisher accolade of the season in the 100 breast with a time of 1:20.21. Maddy Cisco won another 100 free race, coming in at 59.18.

Lone diver Ali Cowan earned first place in the 1 meter dive with a score of 211.64, while her closest competitor earned a 134.69. She would go on to earn 203.17 points in the 3 meter dive.

To kick off the meet, the team of Joelle Blake, Kaya Vital, Abigail Glasspool, and Maddy Cisco earned second in the 200 medley relay (2:03.38).

On the men's side, Hunter Holcomb earned third in the 50 breast at 33.11 and fourth in the 100 IM (1:10.55) and 100 free (1:00.02).

Brady Gardner earned fourth in the 200 free at 2:18.06, followed by Hayden Acker in the 50 back and 50 free with times of 34.53 and 29.54, respectively.

The Cougars are back in action starting next Thursday, November 17th, as they embark on the three-day Oberlin Invitational in Ohio.
