WAYNESBURG, Pa. - October 4, 2022 - Chatham Volleyball traveled to Waynesburg University this evening for a rematch, this time for PAC points. The Cougars would repeat their original result, sweeping the hosting Yellow Jackets 3-0 yet again.

The Cougars wasted no time getting ahead from the first set on, seeing kills from juniors Amelia Bogovich and Baileigh Horan as well as first-year Alyssa Leskovac. Late in the first set, several more kills would be added by sophomore Jessica Taney and senior Shaelah Pepperman.
Waynesburg would start with the lead in set two, but this was quickly remedied by Bogovich and Leskovac. The dynamic duo was joined again by Horan and Taney, featuring service aces from Pepperman, junior Meghan Dominek, and first-year Sierra Ricci.
The usual suspects were ready to call it a night in the third set, demonstrated by their quick and convincing lead. Junior Aaleyiah Williams would join in on the kill streak as well.
Leskovac and Bogovich led the team in kills with 15 and 11 respectively while Williams followed with six after a productive third set. Pepperman recorded 33 assists as well as a team-high two aces along with Ricci. Taney and Horan both recorded solo blocks, with block assists going to Taney and Bogovich. Dominek held down the fort defensively with her game-high 25 digs.
The Cougars are back in action on Thursday, October 6th at Grove City for a 6:30 PM conference matchup.
