NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - October 1, 2022 - Chatham Men's Soccer lost 3-2 at Westminster Saturday afternoon. The Cougars are now 1-7-2 on the year and 0-3-1 in PAC play.
After conceding a goal in the opening minutes and then falling down 2-0, the Cougars came roaring back in the second half, with goals from senior forward
Leandro Nasso and freshman defender
Daniel Gitman under three minutes apart.
However, the rally fell short, with the Titans scoring once more in the 88th minute to steal the victory.
Chatham won the shots on goal battle 8-7 and the match was an even 4-4 on corner kicks.
Nasso led the Cougars with three shots on goal and assisted on Gitman's equalizer.
Men's soccer will be back home Wednesday night against Bethany as part of a Chatham soccer doubleheader.
