BETHANY, W. Va. - November 4, 2021 - Chatham Volleyball traveled to Bethany College today to play in their first-ever PAC semifinal game. Despite three close matches, the Cougars were ultimately defeated 3-0 (27-25; 25-19; 25-21).

The Cougars had the Bison on the ropes in set one, getting off to an early lead. Senior Emily Richie and sophomore Amelia Bogovich contributed the bulk of the offense, which Bethany soon caught onto. They inched their way up to the Cougar lead, eventually surpassing it by way of errors.

Sets two and three saw great back-line defense from Bogovich as well as an uptick in offense from sophomores Paige Bogozi and Baileigh Horan, graduate Macy King, and first-year Kaley Davis.

Amelia Bogovich led the Cougars with 13 kills on the night, followed by Emily Richie with six. Kaley Davis and Macy King trailed with four and three respectively.

Meghan Dominek had a game-high 27 digs, with Bogovich and junior Rylee Ritko contributing a combine 28 more. Dominek would secure an ace of her own as Bogovich and first-year Adriana Conforti tallied two each. Macy King aided on defense, coming up with two blocks.

The Cougars concluded their season at a record breaking 19-8 overall, 14-5 in conference.
