BOSTON, Mass. - Feb. 28, 2020 - Chatham (12-6) was back in action as they traveled to take on Boston, Massachusetts for CSA Nationals on Friday, February 28th and Saturday February 29th. They were last in action the weekend of February 15th as they faced Xavier in the senior matchup at home. The Cougars would win 9-1 in this matchup.
The match started with first year Abdul Malik taking down his opponent by a final of 3-0 to give Chatham a 1-0 overall lead. Khan won each game 11-8, 11-5 and 11-9 respectively.
First year Owais Rasheed followed with a win of his own taking down his competitor 3-1. Rasheed fell in the opening game 11-7 but quickly rebounded with three straight wins to take the second match giving Chatham a 2-0 advantage.
Sophomore Vinicius Muniz was victorious for Chatham, winning his match to give the Cougars the win.
Wesleyan was never able to recover after the fifth match and the Cougars went on to win, making the final score 5-4 in favor of Chatham. With this win, Chatham moves to 13-6 on the season with their next match coming up against Hamilton on Saturday, February 29th in Boston, Massachusetts.
Saturday, February 29th - Chatham (13-6) was last in action yesterday, coming off of a 5-4 win after taking down Wesleyan.

Hamilton put themselves back into the match by stringing together a pair of wins in the fourth through sixth matches to even the overall score at 3-3. First year Mohammed Sadek won in three games to his competitor, 3-0. Sadek won each match with scores of 12-10, 11-1 and 11-6.
Chatham was never able to recover, as they went on to lose the next six matches making the final score 6-3 in favor of Hamilton. With this loss Chatham moves to 13-7 on the season with their next match coming against Connecticut College tomorrow at 11:30 am for third.
