PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Jan 25, 2020 - The Chatham University men's and women's swimming and diving team faced both Hiram and Bethany College in a back to back meet at Sigo Falk Natatorium. Chatham's women came out on top, beating Hiram by a score of 113-48 and Bethany 127-45. On the men's side, the Cougars defeated Hiram 27-17 and lost to Bethany 27-49. First-year
Nathan Kerchensky raked in 27 total points.
Chatham swam to 11 first-place finishes against Hiram. Junior
Mallory Marzolf took first in the 200 freestyle (1:59.62) and 100 freestyle with a time of 53.30. First-year
Carlee Shreve won the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:35.84.
Faith Fannie came in first with a time of 2:31.02 in the 200 backstroke and 1000 freestyle with a time of 12:23.54.
Nathan Kerchensky earned three first-place finishes, coming in with a time of 4:45.65 in the 400 IM, 52.80 in the 100 freestyle and 1:58.34 in the 200 freestyle.
Chatham had a successful relay showing. The team of

Carlee Shreve swam to a first-place finish with a time of 2:00.43 in the 200 medley.
What's Next: The Cougars hit the pool once again on Friday, January 31st vs. Alderson Broaddus and Franciscan at Sigo Falk Natatorium in Pittsburgh, Pa. This will be the swim senior day!
