PITTSBURGH, PA - September 28th, 2019 - The Chatham University men's soccer team competed in the first-ever PAC game this afternoon. The Cougars took the Yellow Jackets of Waynesburg to double overtime that was cut short due to weather. The game ended in a 1-1 tie.

Chatham's record sets to 3-4-2 overall and 0-0-1 PAC while Waynesburg is now 3-6-2 overall and 0-0-1 PAC. Last year the Yellow Jackets finished. 5-10-1 overall and 2-4-1 in conference play. Waynesburg was picked to finish fifth in the preseason coaches' poll.

The Cougars head to Muskingum on October 2nd for a little non-conference action in New Concord, Ohio.

Leandro Nasso scored the sole Cougar goal of the game unassisted at 87:43 to force overtime. Before the game was called due to weather, Chatham had taken three shots to Waynesburg's zero in the second overtime.
