Box Score STEUBENVILLE, OH - September 14th, 2019 - The Chatham University women's soccer team headed to Franciscan University this evening to take on the Barons. Despite a strong effort, the Cougars ultimately fell 3-2.

Chatham's record remains steady at 2-2-1 while Franciscan's improves to 2-3. 

JUST FOR KICKS
Senior Victoria Vernail notched her 4th goal of the season at the 54-minute mark to bring the Franciscan lead to a one-goal deficit. Sophomore Morgan Anderson helped just 12 minutes later, claiming her second goal of the season in the final four minutes.

A JOINT EFFORT
Junior goalkeeper Ashley Bergman played the majority of the game, registering three saves. First-year Tyler Coburn came in as the closer, but faced no shots.
