PITTSBURGH, Pa. – April 6, 2019 – The Chatham University softball team split against Geneva in a double-header PAC matchup, Game 1: 8-0 and Game 2: 3-2.

RECORDS: Chatham now stands at 7-13 (1-3 PAC) while Geneva stands at 11-13 (3-3 PAC).
 
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars face Waynesburg on Tuesday, April 9th in a PAC double-header matchup starting at 6:30 p.m.
 
GAME ONE (Chatham 8, Geneva 0)
 
AT THE PLATE: The Cougar offense enjoyed 12 hits as lead-off hitter Caitlin Worwood finished with three hits.

Worwood drove in four runs for the Cougars.

First-year Alyson Adams had two RBIs and one stolen base.

Junior Kassandra Deana went 2-for-2, with two RBIs.

IN THE CIRCLE: Sophomore Julie Swedberg tossed five innings, scattering four hits while striking out two Golden Tornados.

GAME TWO (Chatham 2, Geneva 3)
 
AT THE PLATE: Chatham tallied four hits. Sophomore Paige Shaftic went 1-for-3 at the plate.
 
First-year Alyson Adams drove in one run and had one hit.

Junior Madison Howell had one hit and one RBI for the Cougars.
 
IN THE CIRCLE: Howell pitched 7.2 innings, striking out four and giving up three runs.
