Cougars lose to Thiel in PAC matchup Wednesday afternoon 10-1

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - April 17th, 2019 – The Chatham University baseball team lost to Thiel in a PAC matchup Wednesday afternoon 10-1. The Cougars tallied only three hits.
 
RECORDS: Chatham falls to 4-23 overall, 1-14 PAC. The Tomcats improve to 14-16, 10-8 PAC.
 
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars face Bethany on Friday in a PAC matchup. Game starts at 4:00 p.m.

GAME ONE (Thiel 10, Chatham 1)
  
AT THE PLATE: Justin Silvious went 2-for-2 at the plate, scoring the Cougars lone run. First-year Traynor Granatire went 1-for-3 at the plate.

Junior Kevin Garcia had one RBI for the Cougars.
 
ON THE MOUND: Bryan Crawford suffered the loss for the Cougars, pitching 6.1 innings, giving up 10 hits. Austin Andonisio, Connor Paul and Erik Napolitano came in for relief. 

Andonisio and Paul each pitched 1.0 inning while Napolitano pitched 0.2 innings.
