PUERTO RICO – March 6th, 2018 – Chatham kicked off the 2019 season in Puerto Rico this morning. Seven Cougars scored in the 15-10 loss to Wentworth.
THE SHORT STORY
Chatham started off explosive with six unanswered goals in the first ten minutes. Wentworth would find the back of the net twice in the next five minutes. The Cougars would get one last goal in the first thirty minutes. Wentworth would finish out the first half with seven unanswered goals. The second half saw a more balanced scoring effort. Wentworth put up six goals, while Chatham netted four to end the game 15-10.

Sarah Naple each scored two goals apiece. McElhose added one assist. Carr won four draw controls, plus five ground balls and two caused turnovers. Naple went 2-for-3 on free position shots, adding three ground balls. First-years

Jennie Piotrzkowski notched a goal of their own. Paspas picked up two ground balls, while Piotrzkowski recorded four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Senior
Anna Prendergast tallied one goal, one assist, two ground balls, two caused turnovers and won a team-high six draw controls. Sophomore Riley Drubasky rounded out Chatham's scoring efforts with one goal, plus one caused turnover. First-year Katie Montgomery led the team with five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
