WASHINGTON, Pa. – March 30th, 2019 – Chatham University fell 22-9 to the Presidents of W&J today in the first PAC game of the season. The Cougars move to 2-4 overall, 0-1 PAC, while the Presidents improve to 3-6 overall, 1-0 PAC.
THE SHORT STORY
Despite a strong first half, the Cougars fell 22-9 to W&J this afternoon. With just under two minutes left in the first half, the game was tied 7-7. Heading into halftime, the Presidents held an 8-7 edge over Chatham. W&J would have an explosive second half and outscore Chatham 14-2.
KEY COUGARS
Kerry Carr led the Cougar offense with four goals, three ground balls and five draw control wins.
Jennie Piotrzkowski netted two goals.

Tifani McElhose and
Anna Prendergast each scored one goal today. Prendergast added four draw control victories and two ground balls.
Sam Miller was in net for Chatham, making 17 saves.
