PITTSBURGH, PA. – Feb. 16, 2019 – The Chatham University women's hockey team fall to Manhattanville 1-0 Saturday afternoon on senior day and the last game of the season.
RECORDS: The Cougars fall to 7-18-0 overall, 4-14-0 UCHC while Manhattanville improves to 16-7-2 overall, 12-5-1 UCHC.
SCORING SUMMARY: Both Chatham and Manhattanville remained quiet in the first period.
Both Chatham and Manhattanville remained quiet in the second period.
Manhattanville scored in the third period. Chatham couldn't find the back of the net even with a power-play and man advantage in the last two minutes of regulation.
GOALTENDING: Devon Strachan suffered the loss for the Cougars making 46 saves, including 16 in the third period.
SHOTS LEADER: KiraJean Frost led the Cougar attack with four shots on goal.
Sydney Collins tallied three shots on net.
FACEOFFS: Collins won a team high 14 draws in the circle. Black went 7-13 in the face-off circle.
