PITTSBURGH, PA – Feb. 1, 2019 – The Cougars suffer a loss against Manhattanville in a conference matchup Friday evening on the road 4-6.
RECORDS: With the loss, Chatham falls to 5-13-2 overall, 3-9-1 UCHC while Manhattanville improves to 11-7-3, 7-4-3 UCHC.
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham continues the weekend rivalry and travel to Neumann tomorrow, February 2nd. Puck drop is set for 4:00pm.
SCORING SUMMARY: The Cougars scored the first goal of the contest, a short handed goal, from
Chad Bell at 08:03. Manhattanville answered and scored a goal minutes later.
Chatham scored just minutes into the second period thanks to
Michael Lamison with assists from
Dan Bellafiore and
Chris Lutz. 17:32 in the second period, Chatham scored again thanks to a short handed goal from Lamison. Manhattanville scored minutes later to tie the game 3-3.
11:17 in the third period, Chatham scored thanks to
Andrew Breda with assists from
Kirk Underwood and
Derek Schrank. Manhattanville scored three goals in the third period.
GOALTENDING: Ricardo Gonzalez suffers the loss tonight for the Cougars. Gonzalez recorded 38 saves, including 15 in the first period and second periods.
SHOTS LEADER: Tristan Simm led the Cougar attack with four shots. Two Cougars had three shots on goal and five Cougars had two shots on goal.
