PURCHASE, NY. – Nov. 23, 2019 – The Chatham University men's hockey team lose to Manhattanville on the road 6-3.
RECORDS: With the loss, Chatham falls to 1-7-0 (1-4-0 UCHC) while Manhattanville improves to 3-4-1 (2-4-0 UCHC).

SCORING SUMMARY: The Cougars started off strong in the first period scoring a power-play goal by
Matt Mood from
Cory King.
Manhattanville scored a goal at 13:09 in the first period, tying the score 1-1.
Manhattanville scored at 10:03 in the second period, leading the Cougars 2-1.
Moments later, Manhattanville scored again making the lead 3-1 over the Cougars.
With seconds to spare in the second period, Chatham answers and scores thanks to
Chad Bell with an assist from
Niko Moulakelis and
Noah Medalsy.
Two minutes into the third period, Manhattanville scored increasing their lead 4-2.
Halfway through the third period, Mood scored another power-play goal assisted by
Derek Schrank inching the Cougars closer to tying the game.
Manhattanville scored two goals, one goal with five minutes to spare in regulation securing the victory 6-3.
GOALTENDING: Ricardo Gonzalez suffered the loss tonight for the Cougars. Gonzalez recorded 27 saves, including 13 in the second period.
SHOTS LEADER: Mood and Bell led the Cougar attack with three shots on goal each.
FACE-OFFS: King won a team best 12 face-offs.
