PAXTON, MA. – Nov. 1, 2019 – The Cougars suffer a road loss in the first game of the 2019-20 season against Anna Maria Friday afternoon 4-1.

RECORDS: With the loss, Chatham falls to 0-1 while Anna Maria improves to 1-0. 

WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham face Anna Maria on Saturday, November 2nd in a non-conference matchup. Puck drop is set for 3:00 p.m. at Horgan Arena in Massachusetts.

SCORING SUMMARY: Anna Maria had one goal in the first period, happening near the end of the period.

Anna Maria took control over the second period and scored two goals back to back in the matter of minutes.

The Cougars scored their first and only goal in the third period from Ben Lamm (first goal of season) thanks to an assist from Niko Moulakelis.

Anna Maria scored one goal in the third period, making the final score 4-1. 

GOALTENDING: Matt Calas suffers the loss tonight for the Cougars. Calas recorded 32 saves, including eight in the first period and 18 in the second period.

SHOTS LEADER: Cory King and Michael Lamison led the Cougar attack with five shots each.
