PITTSBURGH, PA - Oct. 8, 2019 - The Chatham University women's soccer team battled the #16 Spartans of Case Western to double overtime this evening. The Cougars ultimately fell 2-1 after 106 minutes of play.

Chatham sets to 4-4-3 overall while Case Western improves to 10-1-0 overall. In the last three meetings, the Spartans have won by one goal.
A PK TO END IT ALL
The game-winning goal came in the 107th minute of play when Chatham gave up a penalty kick to Case Western. The Cougars played aggressive, holding an 11-3 foul edge over the Spartans.

Tyler Colburn started in net for the Cougars. She recorded 10 saves with one goal against in the first half.
Ashley Bergman came in for relief and played the final 62 minutes, with 10 saves and one goal against as well. The Chatham defense saw 22 shots on goal and 11 corner kicks this evening.
