PITTSBURGH, Pa. – JANUARY 9th, 2019 – A fourth quarter surge pushed the Chatham University women's basketball team past the Geneva Golden Tornadoes 91-79. With the win, Chatham improves to 8-8 overall and 4-3 PAC.

Megan Sieg scored her 1,000th career point early in the second quarter.
Megan Sieg totaled 25 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Senior
Katie Sieg led the team with a career-high 30 points, adding four rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Katie Sieg went 10-of-11 from the charity stripe. Senior
Ashley McClain put up 26 points, six rebounds and three assists. Senior
Olivia Barkley grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
The first three quarters were a battle, seeing 21 lead changes and five tied scores. The Cougars were never behind more than six points. A fourth quarter surge would push Chatham past Geneva to secure the win. Once the Cougars took control, there was no looking back.
